BOD BOTTLES
These borosilicate glass bottles are ideal for incubating diluted samples of sewage, sewage effluents, polluted waters, and industrial wastes.
Determines:

Amount of oxygen required during the stabilization of the decomposable organic matter by aerobic biochemical action
Features:

Specially designed shoulder radius sweeps all air from inside the bottle during filling

Interchangeable, 400-glass "robotic" stopper has a tapered bottom preventing air entrapment
-
Flared mouth forms water seal around the stopper, preventing air from being drawn into the bottles during incubation
The stopper joint is compatible with the probes of leading BOD and DO meters
All bottles have permanent marking spots. Numbered versions are bar coded.
300mL bottles are recommended for the five-day BOD test as referenced in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 18th Edition.
