Void Content Apparatus

These devices are used to determine the void content of uncompacted coarse aggregates.  The first product is for coarse aggragates.  Aggregate free falls from the funnel bottom into the calibrated 145mm dia. by 160mm high.cylinder below. Strike off the excess and compute the void content

Includes:

• Stainless steel hopper
• Support stand
• Measuring cylinder
• Strike off bar
• A 170mm square glass calibration plate

This product meets AASHTO TP56.

NOTE:  Plastic overflow pan is not included.

The second device is similar to the apparatus above except in the fact that it is designed to measure the void content of a fine aggregate sample.

Includes:

• Funnel assembly and stand
• 100 brass measuring cylinder
• A glass calibration plate

This product meets ASTM C1252; AASHTO TP33.
