Lottman Breaking Head is used with standard compression machines to determine loss of strength of asphalt concrete resulting from saturation and accelerated water conditioning.
Marshall Breaking Head
- Upper and lower cylindrical segments with inside radius equal to specimen radius
- Base mounted segment is connected to upper segment by two vertical guide rods
