This hand compaction hammer used for Moisture Density Testing has a 2" diameter circular face, and a guide sleeve with four vent holes in each end of sleeve to release air pressure.

Machined from steel
Plated for rust resistance

The 5.5lb hammer meets ASTM D558 and AASHTO T99 and the 10lb hammer meets AASHTO T180.
