Vision series microscopes feature a sturdy precision cast alloy frame with an oyster-white baked enamel finish that is resistant to reagents and chemical damage. The large, 125 x 135 mm mechanical stage has low position coaxial controls and a Vernier allowing positioning to 0.01 mm. Standard stage stop mechanism and tension adjustment controls. Graduated coaxial coarse/fine focus controls are oversized for comfortable gripping and crafted with precision gearing and high grade lubricant for smooth mechanical operation. An Abbe condenser with all glass components focuses the light collected from the 6V, 20W tungsten halogen illumination providing superior optical contrast and resolution.
