MicroTrax.LPS* Microscope Slide Label Printing System
User-friendly software creates custom-designed labels on Windows* 95 or NT systems. Create eye-readable/bar-coded labels using Code 39 or Code 128 symbols on up to five lines of text. Prefixes and suffixes can be added to the software's sequential numbering feature for design flexibility. Up to ten slide labeling formats can be stored at a time. The Solus* thermal transfer printer features a 300 dpi print head and an advanced 16-bit processor to facilitate fast data transmission and quick label production time. The printer has a 12-month warranty; the print head a six-month/50,000 inch warranty, whichever comes first. Special labels and ribbons withstand the rigors of the laboratory and even stand up to xylene. Once the label dries, the image will last indefinitely.
System requirements: 8 MB RAM for Windows 95; 16 MB for Windows NT; 5 MB hard disk space; 3.5 in. floppy diskette drive; parallel or serial port (cable not included); VGA or better color monitor, video card and mouse. Labels are 7/8 x 7/8 in.; four up and come 7,400 per roll (3 rolls per box).
