SGE ETP Active Film Electron Multipliers
ETP electron multipliers give improved sensitivity, enhanced linearity and longer lifetime compared with competitive multipliers. Conventional electron multipliers, used in mass spectrometry, are of continuous-dynode type based on a silica secondary emissive system. ETP's active film multipliers are based on a revolutionary discrete dynode design incorporating a robust, metal oxide secondary emissive system. The active dynode is chemically durable and virtually impervious to degradation caused by long or repeated exposure to the atmosphere. Each ETP electron multiplier is uniquely designed for a specific instrument in order to optimize sensitivity and dynamic range and to take full advantage of instrument capability. Multipliers are guaranteed to be plug-compatible with most instruments for ease of installation. Full installation documentation is supplied with every multiplier. Guaranteed two-year shelf-life when stored in the original package.
