SGE* Tapered FocusLiners* for Injection Port Inlets

The FocusLiner* is the first liner in the world to secure the quartz wool by means of a tapering above and below the wool. This ensures the wool remains in the correct position to wipe the needle tip during injection as well as provide extra surface area for sample vaporization. Reproducibility is greatly improved with the chromatographers reporting Relative Standard Deviations (RSDs) of between 0.3 and 0.7%. Instrument specific FocusLiners are available for Agilent Technologies (HP), Perkin Elmer, Shimadzu, ThermoQuest-CE Instruments and Varian GCs. Other injection port liners are also available.
