KONTES* CHROMAFLEX* AQ Columns

AQ columns are specially designed for aqueous separations. The materials in the flow path have been chosen to be compatible with all biomolecules. Columns are supplied complete with glass barrel, water jacket, acetal end fittings and 10 µm porosity nylon bed supports. Each column is also supplied with 10 feet (3 m) of PTFE tubing (1/16 in. OD with 1.0 cm; 1/8 in. OD with 2.5 and 4.8 cm), two PEEK tubing nuts and two polypropylene ferrules.
Specifications:
Column barrels are made of Type I, Class A borosilicate glass with acetal end fitting and Viton* end fitting O-ring. Features nylon bed support with PEEK snap ring, acrylic water/safety jacket and polypropylene jacket sealing rings. Bed support porosity is 10 micron nominal. Maximum pressures are: 1.0 cm ID columns: 300 psi (20.7 bar); 2.5 cm ID columns: 150 psi (10.3 bar); 4.8 cm ID columns: 100 psi (6.9 bar). Temperature range: 0° to 50°C. Tubing connections: 1/4-28 fittings. Sterilize with ethylene oxide, 2N NaOH or 100% ethanol (autoclaving is not recommended).
