Chemical, heat- and tear-resistant, microwave compatible and tight sealing. Superior heat-resistant feature allows containers to be incubated in boiling water baths without suffering the characteristic melting of paraffin-based wraps. Stretch the film symmetrically over a container opening and the 1.5 mil thick film contracts inwardly around the opening or neck of the container to provide a drum-tight, water-proof seal. Adhesive-free, it resists organic solvents and caustic agents. Film can be elongated 500-800% before breakage occurs. The 1 in. width is ideal for test tubes.
