Flow Sciences VBSE (2000 Series) containment systems are the world's best engineered ventilation systems for working with hazardous, biological, pathological and chemical materials. Each engineered unit is designed with special airfoils (in front), and unique plenums (in the rear) to smooth out air flow to prevent turbulence inside the chamber. By eliminating air turbulence, even the lightest powders can be weighed without exposing the operator or losing a compound. Allows maximum lighting and has an ergonomic design. Available with a durable fan/filter unit that is separate from the chamber to eliminate noise and vibration which might impact the balance. Models are available from 0.6 to 1.5 meters (2 to 5 feet) in length. Basic VBSE models are 20 in. (49.5 cm) tall, with 30 in. (76.2 cm) models available when a larger size is needed. White or black dished, chemical resistant bases are available. White or clear plenums are also available. Each system is designed for a corrosion-free lifetime of operation. Flow Sciences enclosures are connected to a fan/filter housing by means of a ventilation kit.
