Troemner* Analytical Individual Weights and Weight Sets

. Material-�Utilizes a new austenitic stainless steel, Alloy 8 available exclusively from Troemner*. Alloy 8 possesses closely controlled density, extremely low magnetic permeability, good stability and resistance to corrosion and handling damage. (1 g and larger weights are manufactured from Alloy 8, all masses smaller than 50 mg are made of aluminum.)
. Design-�One gram and above weights are cylindrical in shape with a knob on top for easy handling with forceps and lifters. 500 mg and below are flat with one side turned up for easy gripping with forceps. Each fractional weight is embossed with its value
. Tolerances-�Available in UltraClass*, ASTM Class 1 and ASTM Class 4 tolerances. (Class 2 and 3 are also available-�contact Spectrum for details)
. NIST/NVLAP Weight Calibration Certificate available-�order certificate if you require documentation
. Individual weights-�Available from 5 kg to 1 mg
. Weight Sets-�Designed to achieve any total mass by combining smaller masses. Weight sets are supplied in a 5-2-2-1 series meaning that weights beginning with a 2 are doubled in each decade and weights beginning with a 5 or a 1 are single in each decade. The exception applies when a set begins with a 2-�in that case the first weight is single (unless otherwise noted) but the remaining twos in the set are doubled in each decade
. Cases-�Mass sts 200 g and below are supplied in a polypropylene case and forceps-�sets above 200 g are supplied in wood cases. Individual weights 500 g and higher come packaged in an oak case. Optional cleanroom cases for Troemner* analytical weights are approved for use in all cleanroom environments.
