Thermo Scientific 925 Flash Titration System

The Orion 925 Flash Titrator is a new technology for very rapid acid/base titrations with no external titrant. This revolutionary system employs a 12 mm probe which features an independent pH FET(field effect transistor), a planar conductivity and temperature sensor that electrochemically generates the acid or base titrant from the sample itself. The generated titrant moves by diffusion over the pH FET's sensing area and pH vs. time is obtained. This diffusion time is proportional to the concentration of the acid or base in solution and is reported in the concentration unit selected by the user.

The Flash Titrator also allows direct pH/conductivity measurement with FET technology for pH and planar conductivity. Aqueous samples can be easily measured directly for pH and conductivity, in addition to acid/base titration. The Orion 925 features a microprocessor design, which automates calibration and measurement procedures for a wide variety of applications. Twelve acid and base titration templates are coded into the meter as well as 30 sample methods to make the set-up of new methods simple. These methods may be edited and saved to a new method number to reduce keystrokes and get you titrating samples in a flash.
