Barnstead/Lab-Line Large Volume Magnetic Stirrers

Designed to stir solutions such as viscous gels, latex mixtures, polymers, starches and molasses. These magnetic stirrers have easy, accurate, digital speed settings and a microprocessor-based speed controller. The polished stainless steel construction resists corrosion and accommodates stir bars from 1 1/2 to 6 in. (4 to 15 cm). The 18 x 18 in. (46 x 46 cm) top surface has a ridged nonslip white rubber mat. Stirrers have a 53 gallon (200 L) stirring capacity with speeds reaching up to 2400 rpm (maximum speeds vary with fluid viscosity, vessel size, construction and stir bar size). 349-12076 is remote controlled; the remote is connected by a 10 foot (3 meter) cable. 120V, 50/60 Hz, 1.6 amps, 190 watts.
