Continuous-Flow Airline Respirators

Type C continuous-flow, supplied-air respirators provide respiratory protection against most gases, vapors and particulates for extended periods of time. Air is supplied by facility respirable air or by ambient air pump (see next page). Catalog No. 50NAR offers both respiratory and eye protection, and features an adjustable belt-mounted control valve that allows the worker to obtain the air flow desired to stay cool and comfortable. Disposable Tyvek* airline hoods provide superior comfort, clear vision and excellent mobility, and also feature a noise-dampening muffler and ratchet headgear assembly. Vortex tube (50NVT) can be used in conjunction with the hood assembly to provide greater comfort by cooling or warming the breathing air 30°F. (North quick-connect couplers and air supply hoses must be ordered separately.)
