North Gas Masks and Canisters

North gas masks and canisters for nuclear, biological and chemical applications. A comfortable and lightweight mask that weighs 14 oz (without the canister) that offers >200° field of vision. Hard-coated polycarbonate lens is impact, scratch and penetration-resistant. The 40 mm threaded connector accepts European, U.S. and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) military-style thread canisters. Facepiece seal meets U.S. military standards for permeation by sarin (GB) and sulfur mustard (HD) per Mil-Spec EA-DLT, November 1996. When properly combined, mask and canister provide protection for chemical/biological agents and radioactive dust in atmospheres not deemed to be Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health. The 40 mm NBC canister qualifies under U.S. military/NATO requirements as a C2A1 canister and meets minimum service life requirements for protection against sarin, cyanogen chloride and DMMP. Shelf life is 8 years. Expiration date is printed on the bottom of the canister. Intended for use by early responders including police, firefighters, emergency medical personnel and Haz Mat teams. A complete respirator must include the 40NBC canister.
