North* Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus (EEBA)

North EEBAs provide superior protection in escape situations. Two models provide an average 42 liter per minute (lpm) air flow for five- or ten-minute escape routes that require moderate exertion. A 70 lpm, five-minute model is intended for workers whose escape routes require high exertion. The durable, transparent polyurethane hood provides excellent visibility, and incoming air is deflected onto the viewing area to minimize fogging. A diffuser/muffler inside the hood keeps the noise level below 80 dBa, making communication easier. All models are equipped with a versatile harness assembly that allows the apparatus to be worn around the neck, waist or over the shoulder, permitting freedom to work and carry other items. A durable carry bag is included. Air cylinders are lightweight aluminum, DOT approved and refillable. NIOSH/MSHA approved for respiratory protection in oxygen deficient atmospheres, gases and vapors in temperatures above 0°F (-18°C).
