Dynaguard* Syringe Filter Tips

Polypropylene Filter Tips:
. 0.8 cm2 for volumes less than 5 ml (equivalent to 13 mm disc filters)
. 3.9 cm2 for volumes greater than 5 ml (equivalent to 25 mm disc filters) Designed for HPLC and solvent filtration applications. Provide easy aspiration and injection of fluids into and out of vials, ampules, test tubes and other vessels with small openings. Maximum operating pressure at room temperature is 75 psig (5 bar). Holdup volume is <8 µl for 0.8 cm2, <30 µl for 3.9 cm2 after air purge.
Mixed Cellulose Ester Filter Tips:
. 2.5 cm2 for volumes less than 5 ml. 3.4 cm2 with locknut for medical applications
. 5.5 cm2 for volumes greater than 5 ml
These tips utilize DynaFibre*, a high-flow, microporous, anisotropic, hollow fiber membrane, which results in a syringe tip filter with increased surface area and minimal holdup volume. Ideal for sterilization of aqueous solutions, clarification of aqueous solutions, gas filtration and filtration of small volume fluids. Pore size 0.2 µm. Maximum operating pressure at room temperature is 75 psig (5 bar). Holdup volume is <18 µl for 2.5 cm2, <23 µl for 3.4 cm2 and <35 µl for 5.5 cm2 after air purge.
