Choice of size and membrane material: Polyethersulfone (PES) for fast flow rates and low protein binding. Surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) for low protein binding and low extractables. Cellulose acetate (CA) for low protein binding. Teflon* PTFE for filtration of aggressive chemicals, including acids and non-aqueous solvents. Nylon for universal filtration of HPLC and GC solvents and DMSO. All membranes are triton*-free. Inlet: Female Luer-Lok* accepts standard hypodermic needles. Outlet: Male Luer slip. Pore size and membrane type are printed on the unit. Sterile version is certified, non-cytotoxic and non-pyrogenic.
