Nalgene* Sterile Filter Units with CN Membrane

Pre-sterilized, single-use units with polystyrene housing and cellulose nitrate (CN) membrane are widely used for cold sterilization, clarification, pre-filtration and ultracleaning of buffers and other aqueous solutions, as well as microbiological media. Triton-free membrane has excellent wetting properties and gives fast flow rates. Graduations on both uppers and receivers. Features a 1 1/2 turn threaded screw closure that guarantees a leakproof seal and eliminates pH shift in receivers. Lot number, catalog number, pore size, and expiration date are printed on each unit. Side-arm on all units feature a cellulosic vent plug and quick-disconnect tubing adapter. Green collar. Certified sterile, non-pyrogenic and non-cytotoxic. Sterile shelf-life of 5 years. 0.2 µm membrane has no grid; 0.45 µm membrane has green grid; 0.8 µm membrane has black grid.
