Centrifuge filters with inserts containing 10 µm (nominal) polypropylene mesh provide a convenient device for separating, extracting or purifying samples. Polypropylene housing and mesh provide good chemical compatibility. Example applications include washing of ion exchange media (40 µm bead size and above), removal of large particulate matter and separation of forensic scene-of-crime materials after extraction.
