Whatman* Polycap* AS Filter Capsules

Polycaps are integrity testable (bubble point, pressure decay methods). Efficient design provides highly effective filtration over a small area. Protective sheath makes outlet side of the Polycap a sterile chamber and provides protection against touch contamination. Sterile, vented, nonpyrogenic. Applications include water for laboratory use, salt solutions, cleaning/rinsing solutions, immunologicals, virus suspensions, buffers, nutrients, irrigation solutions and many more. Nylon final filter is a microporous membrane which is inherently hydrophilic and biosafe. It also has low extractables as well as excellent flow rates. The microfiber glass depth media is a prefilter of unsurpassed quality. It is radiation and autoclave stable.

SB: Stepped barb for 6 - 10 mm (1/4 - 3/8 in.), 10 - 12 mm (3/8 - 1/2 in.). Dimensions refer to the ID of the hose. The 6 - 10 mm (1/4 - 3/8 in.) SB accepts male Luers.
