MediaKap* Prefilters

Significantly increases throughput of the MediaKap 2, 5 and 10 hollow fiber media filters. The prefilter may be used with serum and media containing serum. Typically, a two-to-five-fold increase in throughput is realized when using the prefilter with 10% fetal bovine serum in DMEM. The prefilter consists of a glass fiber pad in a 50 mm polypropylene, clear housing with a 1/4 to 3/8 in. stepped hose barb inlet and outlet. A male Luer to male Luer adapter is provided to attach the prefilter to the MediaKap. Diameter 50 mm. Not sterile.
