UVP Microprocessor Controlled Ultraviolet Translinker
A UV crosslinker and transilluminator combined in one compact, economical package. A 254 nm crosslinker provides an exposure instrument which utilizes shortwave UV energy to bond DNA to a medium in seconds as compared to hours when baked in an oven. An internal microprocessor measures and controls UV output. This translinker has the same features as the UVP Microprocessor Controlled Ultraviolet Crosslinkers, plus a 302 nm midrange UV transilluminator which features Hi/Lo intensity settings. The low setting reduces photonicking or photobleaching of gel samples during prep work. The high setting may be used in analytical documentation work. Transilluminator features a 20 x 20 cm filter size. 115V, 60 Hz; ETL/ELTc certified. External dimensions (D x W x H): 13.7 x 19 x 8.75 in. (34.8 x 48.3 x 22.2 cm).
