Whatman* Extraction Thimbles

Cellulose thimbles produced from high quality alpha cellulose cotton linter which have excellent mechanical strength and retentivity. Used in Soxhlet extraction units. Single thickness thimbles have walls that are approximately 1 mm thick (10 �m nominal particle retention). Double thickness thimbles have walls which are approximately 2 mm thick (6 �m nominal particle retention).
