Flat top plastic screw-cap with inner sealing lip ensures a leakproof seal. Molded graduations from 2.5 to 50 ml. Autoclavable polypropylene tubes resist temperatures -196° to 121°C; resist acids, solvents and alkalies at room temperature and withstand centrifugation speeds of 3000 x g or 5000 rpm. Nonautoclavable polystyrene tubes with a temperature range of -100° to 100°C can tolerate aqueous solutions of mild bases or weak acids and withstand centrifugation speeds up to 1000 x g or 1500 rpm. Supplied sterile with green caps or nonsterile with yellow caps. External diameter: 29 mm. Height: 118 mm.
