Barnstead/Thermolyne Benchtop Muffle Furnaces

Benchtop muffle furnaces are available in two chamber sizes. A ceramic shelf is included to double furnace load capacity. Open coil heating elements on both sides of chamber assure fast heat-up, with minimum temperature gradient. Maximum energy efficiency is achieved by surrounding the chamber with thermal efficient ceramic insulation. A built-in venting system removes undesirable contaminants and moisture, extending the life span of the element and unit. The rear of the chamber incorporates a 3/8 in. diameter port for injecting special atmospheres or monitoring chamber temperature with independent measuring device.
Basic automatic digital control has a single display which shows actual temperature or set point, and utilizes a mechanical over-temperature protection relay. Single setpoint automatic controller with a single ramp to set point and a dwell.
Programmable, 8 segment control with one stored program utilizes a mechanical over-temperature protection relay. Programmable, 16 segment control with 4 stored programs includes RS232 communications, and also utilizes a mechanical over-temperature protection relay.
All units include a thermocouple, grounded three-wire cord, and plug. Please inquire for hearth trays and ceramic shelves for furnaces. Maximum temperature °C (°F): 1200 (2192).
