Barnstead/Thermolyne Large Oval Chamber Muffle Furnace

This furnace features an oval-shaped heating element that is directly embedded in ceramic fiber insulation for even heat distribution throughout the chamber. A ventilation port in the top of the furnace permits venting of some corrosive vapors and smoke from the chamber. Adjustable overtemperature protection (OTP) setting protects furnace or chamber loads from excess heat. Self-tuning function allows the control to adjust or "tune itself for superior temperature accuracy. Thermocouple break protection cuts power to the heating elements and prevents thermocouple failure and runaway condition. Single setpoint automatic temperature controller.
