Barnstead/Thermolyne* Large Chamber Muffle Furnaces

This furnace has a highly proficient ceramic fiber insulation that surrounds the chamber for maximum energy efficiency. Minimum chamber temperature gradient is achieved with heating elements located on both sides, plus top and bottom of the chamber. Two supplied accessory refractory shelves triple the usable working area. A one-inch diameter vent located on top of the furnace removes contaminants and moisture. The rear of the chamber is predrilled with a 3/8 in. diameter port to monitor chamber temperature with an independent measuring device. Atmosphere can be injected into the chamber by using prepunched gas ports at the rear of the furnace. Critical electronic components and heating elements are protected by a 35 amp circuit breaker. 208V, 50/60 Hz, 26.4 amps, 5500 watts. CE marked. 260 lbs (117.9 kg) shipping weight.
