Jencons Radiation Protection Shielding

Beta shielding is made from 10 mm heavy gauge optical acrylic which stops 99.5% of all beta emissions from (32P). Gamma (125I) shielding is manufactured from heavy gauge, optical quality, lead acrylic copolymer. This 12 mm shielding provides protection against all (125I) gamma emissions.
Angle Shield
The 15° angle provides undistorted vision and reduces light images and shadows. Available with a large flat base for under bench protection or a curved base for use with safety trays.
Dual Angle Shield
Clear acrylic shield on a 45° angle for work requiring observation while standing. Available with a large flat base for under bench protection or a curved base designed for use with safety trays.
Side Protection Shield
The shields are adjustable from a 0° to 15° angle, and can be used either in a tall or wide orientation. 350 x 540 mm (H X W).
Super Shield
A 35 mm thick lead acrylic shield adjustable from 0° to 15°. Blocks isotopes 125I, 133Xe, 57Co, 99mTe, 123I and 67Ga. Do not use with beta-emitting isotopes as dangerous Bremsstrahlung X-rays are produced. 304 x 450 mm (W x H). 35 mm thick.
