Norprene* Chemical Tubing (Formulation A-60-G)

Norprene thermoplastic elastomer black tubing is a rubberlike black tubing that will not weaken or crack even after years of heat or ozone exposure. Tubing is heat sealable and its chemical compatibility approaches that of fluoroelastomer and silicone tubings, yet costs less. Resistant to ammonia, bleach, brake fluid, bromine, chlorine, essential oils, ethylene glycol, formaldehyde, hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide, iodine, methanol, nitric acid (10%), plating solutions, soap solutions, sodium hydroxide (to medium concentrations) and sulfuric acid (to medium concentrations). A-60-G will prove reliable at a maximum continuous service temperature of 135°C (275°F), while its embrittlement temperature is -51°C (-60°F). Durometer hardness: Shore A, 60.
