Hanna* Checktemp* 2 and Checktemp* 3 Thermometers with Folding Probe

An alternative to glass thermometers, these high-accuracy thermometers feature a 4.3 in. (110 mm) folding probe, which is specially designed to fold at different angles to make measurements in difficult places possible. Checktemp clearly shows temperature on a large, easy-to-read LCD. With the cal-check feature, accuracy and any deviation of the thermometer can be checked at any time during its life. Simply open the battery compartment and turn the cal-check switch on. The display will show a value between -0.3°C and +0.3°C. This means the meter is within specifications of ±0.3°C accuracy. Checktemp 2 has a Teflon* coated steel probe with rounded tip; Checktemp 3 has a stainless steel probe with penetration tip. Both models utilize a high-tech thermistor sensor to measure temperature. Operates for 3000 hours from one 1.4V battery (included). Weighs just 60 g (2.1 oz). Thermometers ordered with calibration certificate are calibrated against NIST standards.
