Designed for temperatures as low as -196°C but should be used only in the gas phase of liquid nitrogen. Closures and vials are both manufactured of polypropylene having the same coefficient of expansion, which further enhances the leakproof qualities of these vials at changing temperatures. Vials have white marking area and can be color coded using cap inserts. Compatible with most storage systems. Self-standing vials can be used with universal lock system workstation rack for quick and easy one-handed cap manipulation. Round bottom vials can be centrifuged: External thread max: 17,000 x g; Internal thread max: 3,000 x g. Vials are sterilized by gamma radiation and are packaged in resealable bags of 100. Autoclavable. Certified DNase-, RNase- and pyrogen-free.
