Pyrex* Desiccators with TS Sleeve

The rugged TS external sleeve with tooled hose connection serves as the stopcock and is designed so that its manipulation is not affected by the vacuum. The open position is indicated by the molded arrow on the cap. A quarter turn from this position closes the desiccator. For ease in use and improved performance, it is recommended that the TS sleeve be lubricated with a silicone-based vacuum grease. The tubulation OD is approximately 10 mm. Catalog no. 988-17176 has a TS 40/35 sleeve. Catalog no. 988-17194 and 988-17200 have TS 55/38 sleeves. Rated 1-atmosphere vacuum. Plates sold separately. Warning: Do not heat or subject to pressure.
