Extra-heavy walls eliminate the danger of implosion. This strong, shatterproof desiccator will hold a vacuum of 759 mm of Hg (29.9 in.), (0.09 MPa) for 24 hours. Clear polycarbonate top with polypropylene stopcock has a Teflon* plug which turns easily, allowing a slow, gentle entrance of air to prevent unnecessary turbulence and crucible damage. Port accepts 1/4 in. (6.4 mm) ID tubing. Neoprene O-ring seal is unaffected by temperatures down to 0°C. Plates sold separately.
