Scienceware* Glove Box
Economical containment unit for isolating material to be processed. Molded from clear acrylic, this transparent glove box can be used to create a controlled environment for a wide range of testing operations. It has many added features for adaptability including an air lock. Each side has an entry opening with a 22 mm (7/8 in.) flange, 305 mm (12 in.) OD and 298 mm (11 3/4 in.) ID with foam rubber gaskets on the outside and removable covers. Front glove ports have an external 25 mm (1 in.) flange, 203 mm (8 in.) OD x 197 mm (7 3/4 in.) ID to accept bare hand entry or standard glove box gloves (sold seperately). Dimensions: 36 x 20 x 26 in. (91 x 51 x 66 cm) [W x D x H].
Air lock
Supplied with a connecting sleeve and a 30 cm (12 in.) diameter interior cover to separate the air lock from the glove box. Made from clear Plexiglas*, the air lock fits the 494-23782 glove box.
Clamping ring
Secures gloves in place to Cat. no. 494-23782.
Hand port cover
20 cm (8 in.) diameter. Covers glove port holes to insure integrity of internal atmosphere of glove box. Price per pair.
Bellows-type gloves
Natural latex bellows-type sleeves with a removable glove fit 20 cm (8 in.) circular ports and 18 x 25 cm (7 x 10 in.) oval ports. The length of the extended sleeve and glove is approximately 76 cm (30 in.). Glove sizes are interchangeable and almost any standard laboratory, surgical or disposable glove can be used. With O-ring construction, glove and sleeve form a leakproof unit integral to the box.

Iris ports (bare hand entry)
Allows easy access to any glove box with a 7 5/8 in. ID port, without the use of bulky long sleeve gloves. Fabricated from ten layers of silicone latex rubber, the 30 points of soft, conforming material afford easy access and withdrawal while giving an excellent seal.

Covers fit into iris ports when not in use, preserving the interior environment.
