Spectra/Por* Standard Regenerated Cellulose (RC) Dialysis Membranes

Composed of cellulose reconstituted from cotton linters. Spectra/Por regenerated cellulose membranes carry no fixed charge and do not absorb most solutes. The standard RC dialysis membranes are used for general laboratory dialysis functions such as desalting, buffer exchange or molecular separation. Spectra/Por 1 through 6 contain small amounts of impurities which are easily removed by washing. Spectra/Por 1 through 4 are transparent, flexible and packaged dry in glycerin. Trace elements contents are heavy metals and sulfides. Spectra/Por 6 and 7 are shipped wet in 0.1% sodium azide. Spectra/Por 7 has minimal contamination due to sulfides and heavy metals. Use with pH of 2 to 12, and in a maximum temperature of 60°C. Membranes exhibit a good tolerance to organic solvents.
