Measures electromagnetic emissions from power lines, computer monitors, television sets, video machinery and other electrical appliances. U.S. EPA recommends "prudent avoidance"� to avoid excess exposure to electromagnetic emissions over long periods of time. Can be used to check compliance with the European Union's Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive IEC 801-1 (EN 50081-1), effective 12/31/95, as well as sections relevant to specific types of laboratory measurement control equipment IEC 204 (EN 60204).
