Top plate temperature range is 38° to 371°C (100° to 700°F). Die cast aluminum case. Porcelain-coated, stainless steel 7 x 7 in. (17.7 x 17.7 cm) top provides excellent corrosion resistance. Compact, low-profile design. Demand-type thermostatic temperature control senses top plate temperature, providing excellent temperature stability, ± 5.0°C (9°F) at 371°C (700°F). Embedded heating elements transfer heat to the top plate, supplying uniformity across the plate surface. Accommodates loads up to 20 lbs (9.1 kg). Recommended for use with glass vessels only.
