1/3 mm thick polypropylene mesh is an ideal permeable support for gels and membranes. Protects against tearing, bending and folding of the gel while it is being inserted into a confined space such as a hybridization bag or roller bottle. 1 mm strand spacings and approximately 70% void volume for rapid equilibration with liquids.
