Ideal for resuspending lyophilized products or precipitates, or for homogenizing samples in a 1.5 ml or 0.5 ml microcentrifuge tube. Teflon* pestle is mounted on a stainless steel shaft, 3.2 mm (1/8 in.) in diameter that may be hand-held or mounted in a motorized chuck. Flat or rounded tip. Overall length 143 mm (5 3/8 in.). Double-ended pestles feature one end to fit the 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tube and the other fits the 1/2 ml tube. 152 mm (6 in.) length.
