Wheaton* StandardS Ampules

These low-potassium borosilicate glass ampules meet USP Type I and ASTM Type I, Class A standards for consistent and low background counts. Ideal for sealed standards used in calibrating liquid scintillation spectrometers. The ampule is sealed by holding the body and inserting the stem into a sealing flame. Heat the stem 3 to 4 mm from the top of the ampule, until the melted glass fuses into a smooth dome.
