KIMAX* Melting Point Capillary Tubes
KIMAX-51 tubes with thin walls in lengths of approximately 30 inches (750 mm). Used to make capillary pipettes and melting point tubes, and for general work in microanalysis. By cutting tubing into lengths of 75 mm (3 inches), capillary pipettes can be obtained for capillary grouping and typing of hemolytic streptococci, particularly Lancefield Type A, in a method developed by Dr. Homer F. Swift of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research.
