This unit produces a solid 454 gram (16 oz) block of dry ice in one to two minutes. Each chamber of liquid CO2 will make eight or nine blocks of dry ice measuring 3 5/8 x 4 in. (92 x 102 mm). The polyethylene ice chamber is held in place by a metal clamping mechanism and a porous polyethylene diffusion plate that vents excess gas. Features a built-in gas pressure gauge and relief valve. The epoxy-coated steel frame has four non-skid rubber feet to prevent sliding. Unit includes a 1.8 meter (6 foot) nickel-plated copper connecting tube with standard GCA 320 (0.830 in.) thread couplings for easy attachment to a LCO2 cylinder.
