N-(Phenylseleno)phthalimide
Used as a reagent for the oxy-selenation of alkenes in the presence of water and an acid catalyst. It is also used as a reagent for the introduction of phenylseleno groups into protected glycals, ketones, aldehydes, stannanes, and exocyclic alkenes.
